Your Promised Land

welcome to Camarillo healing rooms my name is Lynn Mays and I've been working in the Sozo Ministry from since 2006.

I'm the leader of the Social Ministry here at the Camarillo healing rooms

we're going to talk about your um book that God wrote on you the day he wrote

it before time began but it was activated the day you were born and so it is your promise it is your

gifting it's going to be your everything deep buried inside you he just raises it

up and he as you give your life to him and um no two books are the same

and uh every person has a Destiny and a promise and an adventure a fulfillment

gifts tons of gifts inside and um one thing I wanted to start with I had a

book list too um that we thought

it's on that thing okay so one of the things is is a gift in You by Dr Carolyn

Leaf no two brains are alike you don't have the same fingerprints and you don't have the same brain you could be talking

to somebody and you give them a complete explanation and just stare at you you do not have your same logic system they do

not think like you your children don't think like you your spouses don't think like you nobody thinks like you so what

you that's a wonderful book it gives you a lot of Grace with people maybe just change your approach or whatever but we

all think differently that's why sometimes in the commentaries

you know they try to explain explain the scriptures but the problem is that's

their that's how they think and you're looking and you read it and you go I don't get it I'll give you an example

the holy spirit is supposed to lead you and teach you that's what it said that that's the anointing and

um so there was a scripture in Acts 17 and Paul says you live and move and have

your being in me and one day I just said I don't get that I explained that to me it doesn't make

any sense to me and he said and so the Holy Spirit just starts talking and he says well you can't even blink without

me I pump your heart I feel your lungs with air by the way I

own all the air I write your days in an in the palm of my hand and when your

time is up I take your air so I did see my dad die I mean that

wasn't a bad thing but he was suffering and so it was a good thing but when he died he went like this

and he was gone and it was like a vapor I could see his soul leap and um

you you need to talk the book is alive it's the only book you can interact with

start asking questions the holy spirit's job is to teach you all things if you

haven't really got the Holy Spirit I didn't really get the Holy Spirit until I read John in the Amplified and if you

can't read the whole book at least read chapter 16. it's it is his whole Mo there so just saying that a part of this

book so some of the stuff I say you may not get but ask the holy spirit because he will tell you so we're going to go

with the scriptures first because this is the most important part of the scriptures and we already talked about

the book so I want you to close your um eyes

and say father God show me my book

let me get a picture it's a giant book A lot of people see a giant hand and some

I mean some seers can see gold on it and jewels and all that stuff so every moment in your life is there ask the

Lord how big is the moment he goes the nanosecond every time you blink it's in in your

book everything about you is in your book so we need to find out what's in the book

so if you go down to Jeremiah that's that's in Psalms 139 16. if you go to

Jeremiah the next verse there John Jeremiah 21 11 13. so it starts off and

he says I know the plans I have for you says the Lord so who has the plan who

knows what's in the book the Lord yeah do you know what's in your book no you don't know what's in your book

you don't know what's in your spouse's book or your kids books your friends anybody's book you don't even know

what's in your book so let's see how let's see if we even like the plan

let's read the next one they are plans for good and not for disaster to give

you a future and a hope so let's stop right there do you like the plan

does that work for you that sounds good not disaster would be good

and give you a future and a hopes good so let's see how we get the plan in

those days when you pray I will listen if you look for me and Earnest you will

find me when you seek me so all you have to do is pray okay

and um this next one in here is Ephesians 2 10 and I did turn up the um

the thing with the way the different versions are of the Bible read one that

talks to you not not somebody who says oh you have to read it this way read a version that talks to you that

makes sense to you remember everybody thinks different so it says here we have become his

poetry recreated people that will fulfill the destiny your Destinies in

your book he has given each of us for we are joined to Jesus the anointed one

even before we were born God planned in advance our destiny and good works we

would fulfill and that's in Ephesians 2 10. okay now if you are outside your book you can

guarantee it's disastrous I have been outside my book The First

of 39 years it was disastrous until I finally gave Jesus and you know

the word die to self what happens is you give your free will to Jesus so now you

don't choose anymore you weren't choosing good anyway just give it to Jesus and then let him choose

for you you will become a new person that's the dying to the old person making mistakes

you are just give your free will it's not rocket science you just stop choosing okay so here is what Paul says

but we do will not boast of authority we do not have our goal is to stay within

the boundaries of God's plan for us and this plan includes ours working with you

also in operating the courts they have a really good book everybody can operate in a courts of

Heaven it says to get outside God's ordained sphere is unproductive very dangerous we open ourselves up to

satanic onslaughts attacks and destruction so

want to be careful to stay in your books so let's see let's

ask father God something okay I want to oh let's see ask the same question we'll

read it together father God father God is it a good idea

to check with you first before I agree to do anything

to make sure it's in my book what did Father say

anybody hear a yes because that is the answer

this father God is that a good boundary yes it's a good boundary

now there are the Israelites they had a Promised Land we're going to

talk a little bit at this but rest in the fact that God knows what he's doing sometimes he would say that to me I tell

him I don't think that's a good idea you can say that to him he's your father you can talk to him he's a really good dad

and I go I don't think it's a good idea and then we have a talk and so

um we have to believe he won't even say that to me do you believe I know what

I'm doing and so he answers yes so there

is he's already created everything and he's resting in Hebrews 4 9 he's

resting he's already created your book you're already born is spoken out

everything's ready to go and there's a rest in that it's not that he has you working 24 7. it's just you rest until

he asks you to do something that's just all you have to do just rest until you don't have to make up you don't have to

help him he's timing is everything with him you just say set it up instead of are you

kidding me that was my responsive but anyway so there's a special rest

still waiting for the people of God for all we enter into God's rest will find

rest from their labors and just as God is resting after he created the world let us do our best to

enter that place of rest for anyone who disobeys God as a people of Israel did Will Fail now you can just

close your eyes and ask father God father God what does my rest look like to me

maybe get something good okay

um theologians now on this thing I'm going

to get into more about Israel because I've said it's the promised book The only reason I looked up there's 20 verses on there and the only reason it's

called The Promised line is because God said I promised your ancestors I'd give you this land hence the promised land it

was their future and their hope it was their provision it was everything and he

always said I am giving you the land that belongs to the Hittites the

amorites and you know all it goes on but giving giving you the land

they didn't say anything about fighting there's no no there's no talk of fighting do you see in the word fighting

in that 20 20 verses on it though fighting they assumed they had a fight

don't assume in your book okay just do what he says don't assume

the I just learned that the notes put off a

frequency like worship music the notes put off a frequency that destroys the

plans of the enemy so that's how Jehoshaphat did it he stuck the choir out there the enemy the

plans were destroyed and so they could have sang crossing the Jordan and they

could have they could have been wiped out all those people he was the people were demonic he was replacing him with

his people I'm taking their land and I'm giving it to you

so does not do that he has all your book has tons of promises Adventures giftings provision

everything is in the book and so now we should talk attitude

because I didn't have such a good attitude pretty much I try to be better but this verse down below it's um Psalms

40 and most theologians agree that it's Jesus talking and it's so he's so I said

here I am I'm coming to you as a sacrifice for in the prophetic Scrolls

of your book you have written about me I Delight to fulfill your will my God for

your living words are written upon the pages of my heart so Jesus never did

anything except what the father said to do and he didn't perform anything he

waited for the father he saw the Miracles he didn't do anything except with the father now that that's pretty

brilliant and it's pretty good so now I'm going to show you how that worked with me

all right and I I grew up my mom and dad were catholic

my mom had five kids in five and a half years and then she had another child and

to say it was chaotic and loud and noisy and fighting it was an understatement

I went to Catholic School from the first to ninth grade and then the 12th grade I graduated

there was just a lot of yelling in the house and I don't ever remember my dad

not drinking he was always drinking and he was a abusive with not only

physically or with verbally as well and he had gotten so bad my mom had to

become the breadwinner so she was doing double Duty there of all the kids I'm the only one that

went to the church because I always felt good in there I just sit in I I don't think I paid a bit attention to the mass

but I just sat there I would go there after school and I would always just sit in there I always felt better to go back

you know go from school but my dad um did go to Israel in seven when I was 21.

and he went to Bethlehem and he went down I don't know if any of you ever were able to do that you go down these

really long into a basement really down there and there's a star where Jesus was to have been born he touched the star

and asked the Lord to take alcoholism off of him and the Lord healed him

instantly and he spent the next 33 years making it up to us kids so that was really cool in that

I married where I was still in the home I was 17

met this 16 met a guy and we dated for three years he signed up for the service

this is during the Vietnam war and after he was there a year he was stationed in

Minneapolis I we got married and I moved to Minneapolis and I was really glad to get out of the house

so um I went back my you know in a marriage

you either grow together you go apart we just wanted different things we did have a daughter together it's a joy of my

life Amy and but we just grew apart and he finally left and so I moved back in with my parents

to get the I had a two-year County degree I wanted to get the other two years and my sister was going through

divorce and she had a son that was a year older than my daughter and so we raised the kids together we opened a

bakery we didn't know anything about Bakery we sold brownies and cookies and the

colleges the the junior colleges both Oxnard and Ventura took our cookies and

brownies and we did Mom and Pop stores all over you know I'm an accountant I'm setting the business up and we had all

kinds of Consignment there was a guy who made sandwiches lost his league so he came in did sandwiches in there you

could pay your telephone bill in there we had a pottery later it was so where's the we had The Bread Guy come in so we

went on like that and after about a year an attorney walked in to my bakery his

name was Robert Mitchell Mays AKA Mitch and we were married 10 weeks

later in the first year and a half of our marriage we bought a house I graduated I

got a job at the CPA firm we sold the bakery we became Presbyterians

and we were chasing the buck so the Presbyterians are really good

with the Bible and so what they would do is a service in the morning one hour everything's timed and then we do

um Bible study afterwards everybody went all the adults and the kids went to Bible study at the same time they all

were in church the same time all went to Bible study and it was the first day I was so excited I thought wow this is

going to be great the teacher was a pastor in his own right he wrote books and he also worked at Gospel Light

and he said the question he goes what is the meaning of life and I

thought wow I've always wondered what that meant and this girl behind me says love and

serve the Lord and I go she sure got that wrong you know I'm just saying just to myself and he goes right

and I I was shocked I didn't know that I did not know that

and I was just like oh my gosh what about Lynn what about Lynn where does Lynn fit in here what do you mean love

is served the Lord where's Lynn where's Lim where's she's chasing the bug what's going on here

so I signed up for everything at the Presbyterian Church and we did

everything there Mitch and I volunteered on everything oh my oh my we were we were loving and serving

the lord and chasing the buck so I was offered uh this job

um It's Not Unusual for CPAs to their CPAs like to work in public accounting

about 80 percent is doing tax returns I didn't like tax returns and then the other ones do private accounting which

they like to run businesses that's more my thing and so I was

um offered a job and CPA recruited me it was a family firm it was two

corporations 500 W-2s 3 million in receipts

and I really appealed to me that really killed my ego I wanted to get in my

hands on something like that I looked at their financial statements I talked to the CPA they were really clean

and so I prayed and I Knew by then this is five years were Presbyterians I knew

I was supposed to pray and I only had a week because the guy was leaving he had a job in Oregon had to leave right away

which is suspicious anyway but um anyway God didn't say no and he

didn't say yes and I took the job and the controller when I got there was a very strange guy I mean he was a

nervous man he kept going and getting a mail it's like I thought he went out for a smoke or something I got to get the

mail I asked the the office staff you know how many times does your mail get delivered he goes

and he was always out there he really didn't help much you know he gave me the general ledger and that's about it and

you know the all the bills and stuff are in the files and so he laughed he was nervous very nervous and he left he

didn't he didn't help me at all and so um I thought well I figured this out

I've been seasoned enough in County to do this and um

two leaks after he left the state California sees the corporate bank account

he had not filed any tax returns or paid any taxes in six months this is a three

million dollar business that's a lot of money he had them all filed away I found him in the file but he didn't pay

anything and um I started I had to get the we

couldn't pay him until they released it and so it was a big fat mess the whole thing fell apart he hadn't paid any

taxes not federals taxes not State not County not City Court nothing he paid nothing it was a

big mess and the auditor started coming from these organizations after about two months of this I kind of

put my head on the desk and go I'm sorry I did not wait for the answer

here and I said okay okay I I promise you I'll never do this again

I'm never going to make another decision again I'm going to I'm I'm just going to

do what you say I'm not going to make any more choices just

was just that was just disastrous and so I said okay Lord when when are we

getting out of here and he goes oh no you're staying and cleaning it up so and then after I did clean it up he

still said you have to stay until you like it here so in those five years I was there for

five years um he started waking me up early so I came home Mitch and I were having

problems in our marriage before I took that job and so now I'm just Jesus Jesus Jesus

and about two weeks after I turned my life over Mitch took all these clothes out of the

closet and left and he went in to live with a friend of his and so

it was so heartbroken and so CR you know and I was mad and the Lord just said

wait wait now see remember I just turned my life over he will test you you I

could have pulled it back and made a fit and ruined everything but I I just listened to him and I didn't do it and

uh so Mitch called every night to make sure I was okay

and he said act calm and nice as the Lord said

act no oh no act normal and calm and so I acted normal car and then I get

off phone cry it was this went on he left on a Monday but he came back on a

Monday and um he just he just came in with roses for Amy and I and said my eyes were opened I

made a mistake I'm coming back so now I was mad and so and the Lord

said don't say anything let him back though that I did and meanwhile I had

started a group and I started a group in the house and we were working on inner healing and

there was people at the church that wanted to join we had a little group going Mitch was in it for a while and

then he dropped out he didn't like the group at all and I became friends with a couple there really nice people and

they were like family and so about too much later excuse me two months later Mitch said I'm going to prove the Bible

is full of contradictions I'm like okay you know it's

I don't know so Mitch got saved in the Old Testament

I probably was in Isaiah and he comes out like wild eyed you know

he's like maybe we're supposed to be pastors maybe we're supposed to be missionaries I'm like no I don't think so

because the Lord was waking me up an hour earlier I've missed this part here before I usually got up and he was

teaching me about intercession I'm an intercessor and I am a prayer Warrior and he was teaching me what that looked

like and uh we had to go through everything oh my gosh and he was

teaching me how to pray and then he would say we're going to work on forgiveness like oh that'll just take a couple days and then 40 days on

forgiveness I mean it was amazing how many people I had to forgive the thing with uh forgiveness if you

look at Matthew 18 35 it's probably the meanest thing Jesus ever said and it's

right after they got the king forgiving a lot of money to a servant the servant not forgiving his servant and he gets

thrown into prison so father so Jesus says and my father if you do not forgive

my father will throw you in prison and let the tormentors torment you now in

the passion Bible it says the tormentors torment is on the rack that's the that's

the translation for them and so you are the only person with the key to get out

of prison you have to forgive you just have to forgive and you can you just you don't have a

choice you're in prison you're not going to go anywhere if you don't get out of prison and you only one with the key

so I went through and forgived all these people and some of the people you know they hurt me to the Core

and uh I I was honest with Jesus I can't forgive him he goes if I stand in front

of them can you forgive them through me answer to that is yes so if you even

have somebody you can't forgive because they have hurt your core have Jesus stand in front of them you are in prison

you can't do anything while you're in prison you're just going to be bitter you're just going to get more demons on

you you know that's a that's an invite for demons okay

anyway Mitch get saved so I told Mitch I said I don't know what you're supposed

to do you know Moses went on a mountain talked to God why don't you go find a mountain or a hill somewhere and ask him

and so um he did he took the dog and he went up to

the mountain and he comes back and I said well what do you say and he goes I don't know if it's him I go what'd he

say he goes he said carve for me I go well you don't have a car of course that's the Lord you don't know how to do

that he goes but inside me I always wanted to see the seed was

coming up and so the very first uh thing that he

made was like a little shoe he would he he joined the whittler's club in Ventura

you knew nothing about it and you know what knives to buy and he started with wood and his little boot there and then

he made a little dolphin and then Ken will you show the arms that's what he made next

and he made it he just threw a sheet down in the living room while we're watching TV going like this

it's like what are you doing down so he made that and this is a gift of

God but it was inside him see I'm an intercessor he he is doing art to reveal

God so um we go along some more and I am in my

intercessor Mitch starts working and so he started with wood and then and and

then he started with stone so can we show that this is his first

stone piece it's Alabaster minded Ojai is a very hard piece to do

he went and picked it up at Art City in Ventura and uh they gave it to him and

they told him to go to the dentist in town and ask if they have any old tools

and that's how you carve which is a total lie but um he didn't know how to

do it so he did do that and he's using the little Dennis tools to get that it's a one and a half times uh the

size you know proportion wise and it weighs about 100 pounds and so

well when we did get saved we lost all our friends and pretty much the family wanted nothing to do with us

because we were like Jesus Jesus Jesus all the time and we just we cleared the room pretty quick

and so well we were so busy with these intercession stuffing him carving but when they did this picture I mean when

he did the stone oh it's gone um what happened is my brother-in-law

came and saw it and he says well I'm going to promote

you you need to go into be an artist and you're going to I'm going to promote you so he takes a picture of this carving

you can put it up again Ken and I'm just going to show and he took a picture and everybody wanted the picture

and they were he showed it to a lot of people we want a copy of that so his brother made it up

on a postcard and there's the four spiritual laws by Billy Graham and scripture on the back

and so carving for Christ started and over a million of these have gone out

and they're in Spanish and English and I have some if you'd like to have one uh

Mitch will in the back row there he's waving and he will hand it out but wait

till the end of the the talk okay so he's doing that and then he went and uh

took the postcard so meanwhile I am with this couple and we're going to all of the Peter Wagner stuff and Chuck Pierce

Cindy Jacobs and somebody gives me the book called The Bondage Breaker by Neil

Anderson this is a powerful book it's a it's a

Deliverance book and uh I read it and one in the first book because I know

they revised it but in the first book it says Romans 8 1 there's no condemnation in Jesus and I go

whoa I've got a truckload of condemnation on me and it's not from

Jesus and I was receiving that it was like oh man and then I hear in my head

put this book down it's demonic so I turned the page and the author writes right now you're hearing put this

book down down it's demonic and I go oh no I've been so hot

so anyway I went through the book I literally could see reading when I in the end they have you renounce

everything you got yourself into like Ouija boards eight balls astrology I

mean stupid stuff you just kind of you don't think it's anything to it levitation all this stuff you get

yourself into so I renounced all that I could see that and wanted come off me I'd be reading a book and I could just

see it coming off of me then I got hit by the Holy Spirit and was talking

in tongues but as Presbyterians and the Catholics let me talk about tongues

so just a side note of friends of ours because we all want to talk in tongues

and I always I'd go walking down the hallway I thought I was just tired not this gibberish would come out of me and

and so I went this is really this is a side note friends of I we drove after work all the

way to Pasadena to um the church there in Pasadena

and to talk it was a Peter Wagner thing and it was John John

what's that no no Garlington says last name

and he's he's a black man and he has a church I don't know if he's still alive and a lot of these people are dead now

been a long journey anyway he started teaching and so up comes the same gibberish and I go oh my gosh I go all

the way to Pasadena back that night and already had it so anyway we started

using it I started doing we were invited to this uh this couple and I were invited to this home in Ventura just an

ordinary home and we came in there's about six ten people six churches were represented in

this home and it was amazing these people were amazing we had two women

they were at least 20 years older than me at the time and they were always giggly and they were smuggling they

weren't I crossed that word out they were bringing Bibles with them when they

went on vacation to China and they would bring in a box of one one

uh suitcase had their clothes and the other one was filled with Bibles and they must have been totally cloaked

they'd been do 10 years never got stopped once never just one in there con Church person there would contact them

and they were doing it and they were so cute and so funny and so happy

this other couple were bringing Jesus films into the Middle East and uh going on I thought when I heard

that I go wow I'd love to do that I mean this this whole thing another guy was a

retired intelligence person he still had connections with the FBI and the CIA and

he would get prayer strategy um and what to pray for he was a leader

of the group and so we went in there and it wasn't a prayer group it was a

war room it was amazing I never even heard prayers like this and I loved it my little couple friend did not like it

and they didn't come back and so I really wanted to go to on one of those

prayer Journeys I thought that would be really cool and and then by then they were having the reconciliation

identification where you ask God in uh Joshua it says wherever you put your

foot I'll give it to you and then you're reconciling the land where there's been so much killing and destruction and

asking God to forgive it and then for asking God to forgive the people identifying it and that's basically what

the prayer walking is um meanwhile I'm I'm involved in a prison ministry and Ed savaso has a book

out that none should perish which is all about prayer walking and claiming everybody's soul for the kingdom of God

wherever you put your foot again another Ministry like that so I we went to a

huge prison this ministry group prison ministry group went up north and

we were teaching the men in the cells to do that and bringing in the postcards they went down there and then we went to

a couple of times we went down south and there's two women's prisons down there

past that the postcards and taught them how the prayer walk and uh moving doing

that all it there's so many things going on at the same time so Mitch is getting into bronze he started doing bronze and

more and marble got into a number of pieces of marble and I don't have

pictures of that so um I was praying that they would pick me

this this group was working with campus Crusade there was a leader from campus Crusade would call this couple because

she used to be in campus Crusade when she was in college now she was you know older and she would they would add they

wanted people to come in and you know help them and so they would pray outside of our

prayer group they would pray by themselves and my name came up I was so excited we were going to go into Yemen

and bring in the Jesus film it was going to be so good and I told Mitch he didn't have to come

I mean this was just was like I was hopping up and down to do this and he's like the Lord told him he was supposed

to come in protect me and I go okay I'm going to tell you about the Yeoman trip but we did many

more after that and so we uh I still was very excited to do

this and so we flew in uh to change planes in London and then came over and

as the landing gear is coming down we first went into Jordan now Jordan was a

lot looser on the religious stuff because the queen was a Christian and so

the Jesus film had an actual location there where you could come in you could hear the gospel and they were playing it

and we were there when they played it in a movie theater but so

where the landing gear starts to go down and this thing was like a blanket it fell on

me and it was pure fear I and it was grabbing my lungs and

grabbing my heart and it was laying on me like a blanket and I said oh Father God oh I go oh no

father God please don't let me embarrass you please don't let me let you down I

begged you to come on this trip and I don't want to let you down and all of a sudden his hand came out of

nowhere grabbed that thing and threw it out the window and then I at the top of

my head to the bottom of my feet I was like pure peace and it was like I was

encapsulated in a bubble and it was just like fluting people say things to me and I just kind

of look at them you know it's just this incredible piece and it lasted the entire trip and it was amazing it was

amazing so it turns out they gave Mitch the master to bring in we were bringing

in audio and video cassettes remember this is the 90s and so we

brought in this cassette which was given the master where they were going to be copied there and in Jordan they said

they needed more video cassette I mean audio cassettes so we brought in nine bags of audio cassettes blankets nine

and they were the laundry bags you get at the hotel and so there was probably 60 in each so

here's all of us carrying white bags full of I mean it's not like we didn't Stand Out

audio cassettes and there was a project there and we don't have to go into that but I wanted to tell you when we landed

into we went from Jordan to Yemen uh boy

Yemen looks like the surface of the Moon very little Greenery big big like

Boulder holes I mean just really dark really really back in time this was in

90 s five or six and I mean they were still

making screws and nails in little workshops in the downtown area they call

it the Sook this is a Marketplace but we go into the airport it's like just a big

Hangar it probably wasn't much bigger than this place and then there was one

plane coming in and one plane going out you could see everything and there were machine guns everywhere it was first

time I ever saw machine guns in an airport and so the gals on the plane

when we landed they would have had little short skirts and high heels all made up you put on their burqas and you

couldn't see any part of them gloves all the way down and everybody walked off

the plane not saying where nobody's Whispering nobody said so Mitch was ahead

and I was making sure kind of coming up the tail end making sure everybody's okay and he's goes down and they put our

we had to walk down a plank and then our bags were down there

and so Mitch bends over

and the video the the video cassette I'm I'm coming down the plank I saw this it

flies in the air and it arches and then it goes bang bang bang bang

bang bang bang bang bang about five feet away the Angels had it done that and they

must have done that and it just went flying and Mitch yelled at oh s really

loud so if you didn't hear the video cassette you heard Mitch so every eye on

the airport we're on Mitch because it's just an open area and so we were to bring our so he's like

and then gets the bags and we all take off with all our stuff and then they search all your bags

and uh he was in the front and two machine gun guys come up to Mitch and go

video cassette video cassette you know he pulls it out of his pocket again and

they take him off to a room everybody wants to know what's going on even the guy checking our bags he's like

and he's just pushing everything back to us he didn't look at us we were invisible to him and he told us to stand

by the exit and all all these other machine guys gun guys come running were

mitches and he even leaves to go see what's going on so everybody's going Lynn Lynn are you

okay yes I'm fine what about Mitchell he's fine you know it's just like I'm in

this bubble piece nothing is bothering me and it did was about a half hour and

you hear all this laughing coming out of there and Mitch can be pretty silly and he is an attorney so so he they they

thought it was a pornography and so they were going to take the video and give it to the Department of

interior and one thing we did learn in Jordan is masalama which means God bless

you so he's masalami everybody in the room shaking their hand they're all laughing they're masalami and back and

he says oh now this is a gift for you but it was the master but what happened that we didn't know is the other people

that were more experienced than us we're carrying the other Masters to come in so

it was we didn't lose anything there but it was a fun story and then Mitch pretty much always went on um

on all of the trips um guess he didn't think it was too boring but I really think it was a too

far part thing Mitch created a distraction so they didn't look at our stuff and we got all

of that those audio cassettes in too they probably would have taken those and

um and Mitch got his Adventure it wasn't boring but we did a lot of stuff there was a lot of stuff we did inside but

this doesn't even matter and then we went on doing other Journeys with the Jesus film and um

on the last trip we went which was at the end of the about 19

and we went and we were in Syria and there was a guy that was um

uh had he was kind of head of the Middle East had but right up close there he was

charged of it he wanted to start a humanitarian aid arm of the campus Crusade he was given permission and he

asked Mitch to set it up for him in Geneva

and uh and Mitch wanted to do it it just appealed to him he said he just wanted

to do something bigger than himself I thought it was a terrible idea so it means that means we would have to move

to Geneva and we would have to live there and for two years it was a

two-year commitment we had a race funds we had to do all these things I didn't think we would ever get money raised we

were admin people you know they wanted me as the CPA to set up the books him setting up the corporation and we were

going there for that we were not Pope tent African missionaries trying to save

the loss there we were just admin people so they had to we had to sell us as an

attorney and accountant going to France at the base of the

French Alps three miles from the Geneva Lake

the race support for us will you do that so we can set up a

humanitarian Aid believe it or not we raised the funds I mean I I find it astounding we were supposed to be there

January 20 of 2002 was a day so it took

us guy talked us into it all during 2000 and 2001 we had to raise all our support

and we did agree to go after I left that other place I told you about after five

years they were all cleaned up they were fine um my younger sister and I started an

escrow company so it was going on when I was doing these prayer Journeys and so

Mitch and I set it up I was doing accounting she was excellent at escrow and she had a following and we just

started the business with the two towns together so I had that so I had to get permission for my sister to be gone two

years and um we could we had to sell a investment

property we have because you can't pay two rents so we had a mortgage so we had to pay off our

house and then we just did it we packed up mentioned Amy

had her Masters in edu yeah she did at that time Master's in education she had

her teaching credential she also got an international degree to

teach teach English as a second language and she had a job at an international school in Geneva to

teach businessmen English so she was all set to go because she had to raise her own support too and we were really

limited you could only spend this much for that this much for that you could not use any of your own money if God's

not providing you have to go home so they're really really strict about it was good it was good and anyway I was

left behind with the cat and Mitch and Amy took off January 2002 because there was no one to take my

place and was not an accountant she was escrow officer and she could write the checks

for the bills and she could call him paychecks I had us on paychecks then and but she couldn't reconcile the trust

account the trust account is huge it's millions of dollars that and hundreds of checks a month and we have to have it

reconciled for our license on the 19th of the month sometimes we never even got the bill from the bank I mean the

statement from the bank until like the 17th or 18th so it was something that

had to be done right away and she didn't want to do it so I I stayed you know I said Lord this is your problem I was

mostly thinking about how to maybe run that from the states I

mean the computers were good emails we could go back and forth I could sit you know work it out maybe in

the states it would have been a much harder on Match and um anyway we just waited so this this man

comes into our Escrow Company I I was there just still doing it I don't know

what you know if the Lord's putting us together he'll put it together you don't try to help him I was just thinking of

ways but we didn't do anything and this man walks into the escrow company and he wants a job and he is a

lone he likes to do work with uh lenders and he had a lender following and also

loan brokers were following him he used to work in LA excuse me I'm getting dry so what

happened is he was Tiny we used to work at a bank before he worked there

at the escrow company and he moved to Camarillo and he wanted to be close to home and he wouldn't work with a title

company or in-house escrow with a real estate just wanted to work for an independent that's what we were

and so I said well you worked at the bank what you do at the bank he said well I reconciled bank accounts

trust accounts for escrow companies so really

so of course we hired him and then I left in March and so see God take care

of he will always take care of you don't have to do anything it's arresting if you say yes you just rest and you wait

you wait for him to put it together you do not make it come together that's a

really big No-No don't do that so life in in uh

in France we got there and uh

there turned out there was another leader he was our we had the American leader setting this up and we were all

getting ready Mitch had found a really nice place for us and we're all getting together we we stayed on the French side

it's much cheaper Geneva is ridiculously expensive and we decided to put the

office in on the what they call the frontal area was just three miles from Geneva it's just right outside because

it was a hundred times cheaper plus the Swiss we're going to charge us to just go in and out every day and and then

they wanted license and everything and France was is it really a was easy company to work with I mean a country to

work with and they're very similar to us they're very very similar to us and so

we get there we're all set to go and they have kind of a conference kind of

to tell everybody about what we're going to be doing with humanitarian Aid and all of this stuff and this Canadian

leader shows up he's leader of Canada campus Crusade and he has already has a

humanitarian Aid in Canada and we did not know about him and he was

supposed to set up a humanitarian Aid right there in Geneva too in France

so we have two leaders we got the Canadian leader and the American leader and the fighting began

and they never stopped fighting they fought the whole time it won't go into too much they could not agree to

anything they would start a corporation and have Niche dissolve it which means you have a year-end in accounting and I

had four years four year ends in six months it was really it was tedious and

uh they just they would sabotage each other and um but Mitch and I got our job

done quite a number of times and uh we got we got it up there finally the

International so okay before that um in September that same year that's

2002 a friend of mine sent me a picture of this Christmas tree with all these

presents underneath it and all these little kids and she said oh this is an orphanage in Honduras and I hear clearly

from the Lord he says you will be there next August you're going to go to that orphanage

next August it'll be really clear and of course I'm like what I go are you saying I'm going to fly

from France because this is a two-year commitment we're in into Honduras and he said you will be there

next August okay just okay well

come uh February by November the corporate offices the international

corporate office called the two leaders in because they just could not get along they called them both in the Canadian

and the American and Mitch went with them and that was the first of November and my sister called she says I can't do

this alone anymore you have to come back and so I talked to Mitch and he said yeah this thing's unraveling here go

ahead and go so I packed up it was gone in two weeks went back home and they literally kicked our leader out of

Campus Crusade they 'd give him enough but we had put the humanitarian Aid

thing together so he did have something he could raise money on kind of winning on the other side of the

world so we're come home and we were you know a little bit beat up on that whole thing

and when I came home my friend took me to a Methodist um

conference it's a healing conference and I did get healing from that and I mean Amy and Mitch were bad okay so Mitch

wanted to rent our house out I forgot this part when I left in March he wanted me to rent it out and the Lord said no

you're going to leave it open for missionaries and you're going to pay all the bills you're going to pay all the utilities the taxes you're going to have

a cleaning lady in a in a gardener and then you're going to give it to so and

so to manage and so I go okay so I take the keys and I talk to my friend and she

just started jumping up and down she'd want to do that all her life to be able to do so she had to guess the

hospitality and he had given that to her and she just loved it and so I had to give them

notice when I came back and we moved in and Amy and Mitch were back by Christmas

and so from there we went on to um

well friends okay show the house okay I'm gonna fast forward I knew I had too much okay so fat show off the picture

the Lord on in 2004 it was a five day period first my friend

said you have to move with us into a housing house

oh it is up oh yeah I can't see it that's right okay so oh my gosh I'm oh I knew I was gonna run a time anyway this

was a big thing for us the Lord wanted us to move into this house these are brand new house is a million

dollar house and 350 000 more for the view lot we could not afford it

we had a total confirmation people were coming to you have to buy lot 30 you have to buy lot 30 every day for five

days finally Jesus is jumping up and down he says you have to buy this house we had the down payment and so we put it

down after five days of hearing this stuff and Mitch was really upset and he just left

and we signed the papers and then I went up here and it has an incredible View

and so this is the house was for Ministry he wanted us to host missionaries here

because he's an abundant God and they are not shown any abundance when they come back from the mission field you

know they have to sleep on the floor and all this stuff in the garages so this is a house and then the backyard

can you do the backyard you put it up okay so Mitch put up a Vineyard back there

and then the front yard we have a patio and a fire pit out there

and uh and that's the view and he told me on we moved in on

December 13th there was all kinds of stuff with that I didn't think we'd get a loan my brother called me out of

nowhere five minutes after the lender told me how much they were going to charge and so he says hey I'll give you

a loan interest only and then um I mean just we sold the house it fell out so it

was only three days before escrow that escrow closed and brother alone

and we've been servicing the missionaries up there we just did what he said it's we didn't know why I lied

him and finally said stop whining me and then told me what it was for it you won't know the adventure and I'm out

of time so sorry you guys well all right um if you have any questions I think I

said everything I was going to say you must stay in your book it is your

Promised Land all you have to do is stop picking just stop and let him take care

of the rest he knows the plan he has for you he knows the plan he wanted us up

there we'll be there up there 18 years he has always provided for us up there

we have been there 18 years in December and so thank you so much

was felt inside that you took any fear out of them because Jesus you didn't give us the spirit of fear so where did

we get it you don't want to keep anything they didn't give you you absolutely need to get rid of that you

need to ask them where you got it and get rid of it he did not give it to you do not be afraid do not be like the

Israelites and stay in the desert don't do that come on into your Promised Land he's going to give it to you you don't

have to work for it and you don't have to fight for it so I thank you Father that you will bring that Spirit on them

right now that they can do all things through Christ strengthens them and nothing is impossible
