“Songs of Scripture” ministers healing, wholeness, and deliverance through singing, praying and declaring God’s Word. Wes, who is a psalmist, has transformed God’s Word into easily remembered songs. While the lyrics come from the Bible, the melodies flow from Wes’ heart. Each “Song of Scripture” has the inherent power to transform your life, as you begin to listen and apply it to your life.

The S.O.S ministry believes that as God’s Word goes forth healing and deliverance will occur, according to Psalm 107:20 “He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” They believe in the powerful impact that singing and praying God’s Word produces, because Isaiah 55:11 says “So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void… It shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Leaders

Wes and Lynn Gorospe are the leaders of the Songs of Scripture ministry. In the midst of deep sorrow, while their daughter battled a life-threatening disease, this ministry was formed. As they began to cling to God’s promises in the “Songs of Scripture” that Wes had already written, sung, and recorded, they found great peace and comfort. Since then, they have ministered these songs to people in the healing rooms, hospitals, homes, and churches throughout the world, bringing God’s healing touch to many.

While Wes is the psalmist, Lynn is an anointed intercessor who has a passion for setting the captives free. She brings a powerful dynamic to this ministry, praying and declaring God’s Word between Wes’ songs from scripture.
