JESUS IS WILLING! BE HEALED!

Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.”  Immediately his leprosy was cleansed... Matt. 8:3

“Do you know what Hebrews 4:7 says?” my husband asked excitedly before going to church this morning.  He then proceeded to tell me how he had never seen the word “will” in this verse.  “Today, if you will hear His voice,  Do not harden your hearts.” Heb. 4:7  God has given you “a will”.  With it, you can choose to hear His voice.

But, what is His voice?  His voice is His Word!  And one of the most exciting things you will ever discover in life is that God’s Word is His will for your life. Therefore, if you are wondering whether or not it is God’s will for you to be healed, you just need to be willing to hear God’s voice, His Word, about healing.

Matthew 8:17 declares that Jesus “healed all who were sick that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”  The word “took” and “bore” denotes actual substitution and complete removal of the thing borne. Through the work of the cross Jesus took your sicknesses and diseases in His own body.  On your behalf, He willingly bore 39 stripes for your healing. (1 Peter 2:24)

No matter how impossible your situation looks, Jesus is willing to heal, save, and deliver you!

When the leper came to Jesus and inquired whether or not He was willing to heal him, Jesus responded, “I am willing; be cleansed.”  And, immediately the leper was cleansed.  Matt. 8:3  Jesus’ “Word” to the leper is His “Word” to you today!

You don’t need to wonder, whether or not it is God’s will for you to be healed.  God was so willing that He sent His only Son Jesus to the cross for the purpose of not only forgiving you of all your sins, but healing you of all your sicknesses and diseases.  No matter how impossible your situation looks, Jesus is willing to heal, save, and deliver you! Today, be wiling to hear His voice, His Word and will, for your life!

Prayer: Father, I thank-You that you are willing to heal, save, and deliver me!  Thank-You for qualifying me through the precious blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, who bore all my sins and all my sicknesses and diseases through the work of the cross. Thank-You, Jesus, that what You said to this leper, You are saying to me right now!  For You are “the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Heb. 13:8 Therefore, I believe Your willingness and I receive my healing!  Thank-You for healing, saving, and delivering me!
