Are You Making Space for Jesus?

And Mary …  laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

As the innkeeper of your heart and life, are you making space for Jesus? Daily, He stands at your door and knocks. Will you open the door? Will you make room in your schedule to dine with Him? (See Rev. 3:20)

This Christmas, Jesus wants you to know that even if you have failed to make room for Him, He has made “room” for you. Already, He has prepared a place for you in His Father’s house where there is more than enough room for you to dwell. (See Jn. 14:2)

Throughout your day, amidst all of life’s busyness and unknowns, Jesus’ invitation to you remains the same. He invites you to dwell moment by moment inside inside of His heart, inside of His kingdom of love, where you can find all that you need – rest for your soul, healing for your body, and refreshment for your spirit. Will you take take time to listen and follow Jesus’ Words of wisdom, compassion and love? Will you share with Him how you are feeling, entrusting Him with your cares?

This Christmas may you receive God’s best gift, Jesus Christ, making room for His love for you – His forgiveness, His healing, and deliverance.

Remember: Living courageously encompasses inviting Jesus into the messiness of your life and listening to His voice.
