“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20
Prayer is powerful, especially the prayer of agreement! Throughout Scripture, we see that when God’s people unite their hearts in prayer, faith is strengthened, burdens are lifted, and God begins to move in miraculous ways. Agreement in prayer is more than simply speaking the same words; it is joining our hearts together in faith, trusting God for His will – His Word – to be done.
Nowadays, many people carry their struggles – mental, physical, emotional, financial, and relationship struggles – alone. However, God invites you and I to come together in prayer, standing side by side, believing and expecting His presence and His power to be manifested in our midst.
No matter where you are at in life – whether you are carrying a heavy burden for any aspect of your life, facing a great loss or a bad report, or suffering from an acute or chronic illness – you do not have to face it alone! There is not only great comfort, sharing your story and knowing that other believers are standing with you before God, but there is miracle working power that is released as we agree with God and with one another in prayer. “… if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matt. 18:19
