Ephesians. 1:18-20 ... that you may know… the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand…
Easter celebrates Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. The same mighty power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead and seated Him at God’s right hand in the heavenly places far above every power is the same power that resides in your spirit as a born again believer. The power of hell could not keep Jesus in the grave, and the power of hell could not keep you spiritually dead, living in the kingdom of darkness. This is the good news of the gospel of Christ for everyone who believes!
Throughout your life, God desires that you continue to know experientially “the exceeding greatness of His power,” which is able to save you to the uttermost. (Eph. 1:19; Heb. 7:25) What you can not achieve no matter how hard you try, God wants you to remember that Christ has already done it for you. “It is finished!” John 19:30 God says to you “forget not all His benefits.” (Ps.103:2)
Throughout your life, God desires that you continue to know experientially “the exceeding greatness of His power,” which is able to save you to the uttermost.
Psalm 103:3-5 prophetically declares all the core benefits that you have already been given through Jesus’ victorious work of the cross.
- Forgiveness – “who forgives all your sin”
- Healing – “who heals all your diseases”
- Redemption – “who redeems your life from destruction”
- Crown – “who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies”
- Satisfaction – “who satisfies our mouth with good things”
- Renewal – “so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”
One of the simplest ways you can receive all of these benefits is by thanking Him. No matter what the contrary evidence is in your life, come to Jesus and give Him your sin, sickness, and any form of destruction or lack and then take what He has already purchased for you through the shedding of His blood, thanking and praising Him.
