HOLD FAST YOUR CONFESSION OF HOPE

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

Are you living in hope? Living inside the superior reality of God’s Word? When all natural evidence relentlessly cries “hopeless,” what’s your confession? Will you confess what the God of hope says? Or, will you confess what the gods of hopelessness say?

When you realize there is a “who” behind every “what” that you confess, you will desire to heed  God’s instructions in Hebrews 10:23, to “hold fast the confession of your hope without wavering.”

Don’t waver! Don’t waver between the Word of God and the words of the world, the flesh, or the devil. On Mount Carmel Elijah said it like this, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” (1 Kings 18:21)

Don’t waver! Don’t waver between the Word of God and the words of the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Hold onto the Promised One, judging Him Who promised to be faithful. Hold onto His promises with thanksgiving and praise, “For all the promises of God in Him (in Christ) are Yes, and in Him Amen.” 2 Cor. 1:20.

As you hold fast, God will release supernatural strength into your heart by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that you may abound in hope and be filled with all joy and peace in believing. (Rom. 15:13) Then, through God’s strength, the inherent supernatural provision and power contained within the promised seed will manifest.

Consider: What “hopeless” situation are you facing? What hope-filled promise are you holding unto in God’s Word?

Pray: Father, Thank-You for Your hope-filled Word that declares ___________. (Fill in the Bible verse.) I am making the quality decision to hold fast the confession of my hope without wavering. Strengthen me by the power of your Holy Spirit so that I can abound in hope, being fully convinced that what you have promised You are able and willing to perform.
