Now, the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you… Exodus 12:13
“Passover” will be celebrated worldwide this Wednesday, especially by the Jewish people. When the blood of the lamb was placed on the doorway of the Israelites homes, the plague could not enter in to destroy them. It had to “pass-over” them. in other words, they were given complete immunity from the death angel, because of the blood of the lamb.
With over 8,000 deaths in the United States and almost 64,000 deaths worldwide from the coronavirus, along with its far reaching effects in our families and communities, I believe it is crucial that each one of us understand how we can apply the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, to the doorposts of our hearts and homes to cleanse us and protects us from the coronavirus, as well as all forms of evil.
It is crucial that each one of us understand how we can apply the blood of Jesus Christ…. to cleanse us and protects us from the coronavirus, as well as all forms of evil.
One of the main ways you can apply the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse and protect your life, your family, your home, and all that concerns you from the coronavirus and any other form of evil is by making a confession of faith of what the blood of Jesus has already done for you the moment you received Jesus Christ into your heart. (Romans 10:8-10)
Apply the Blood of Jesus:
- I declare that the blood of Jesus Christ is protecting, healing, and delivering me and my family_______ (list specific names, groups…) from all forms of evil, including _____________ (coronavirus, financial loss, fear and anxiety….).
- Because of the power of Jesus’ blood, “no evil shall befall me (us), nor shall any plague, come near my (our) dwelling.” Psalm 91:10
- “I overcome (have victory over) _________ by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony….. Revelation 12:11
Will “it” work? Yes, it works!
- For many years, I received prophetic words saying, “All I can see is the blood of Jesus over you.” Because I was confessing with my mouth what God’s Word said about Jesus’ blood, it became such a reality in the spiritual realm that the prophetic people “saw it”. One of the greatest battles we now face is being waged primarily in the spiritual realm.
- Jesus’ blood always works! We just need to apply it by believing what God’s Word says in our heart and by confessing it with our mouth. (Rom. 10:8-10)
How do we know it works?
- God said, “when i SEE the blood, I will PASS OVER you…. (I will) not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.” Ex. 12:13, 23
- By faith let us confess the Good News of Jesus Christ, the inherent power of Jesus’ blood to cleanse us from all sin and to deliver us from all forms of evil.
P.S. – The two faith actions the Israelites took at the first Passover are applicable for us today – putting the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of their home (see above) and eating the body of the lamb (Communion).
