Baby Healed of Down’s Syndrome in the Womb

I recently went to the Camarillo Healing Rooms to get prayed over after receiving bad news about my pregnancy. I had a screening test done called the NT Scan when I was 12 weeks pregnant. The point of the screening is to look for possible problems with the baby. After the technician was done with the screening, she told me that the doctor was concerned and wanted to see me again that day. I was confused and asked what was going on. She told me the doctor would call me to go over the findings.

The doctor called and explained to me that the nuchal fluid around my baby’s neck measured extremely high, which is usually a sign of Down Syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities. 3.5mm is considered very high (most babies measure in the 1’s and 2’s) and my baby’s measured 5.9mm. I asked if that was common to have such a high reading and the doctor got quiet and said “I haven’t seen one in the last year.” I was devastated at that point. I was given a greater than 1 in 5 chance of having a baby with Down Syndrome or another chromosomal abnormality. I was shocked since I am only 26 years old and have no family history of such problems.

I was referred to a genetic counselor, who helped me understand what I was possibly facing. She recommended I have an amniocentesis test done. I went ahead and did the amnio test, and I was told that I would get the partial results in 2 days, and the full results in 10 days. I had lost all hope at this point and was already expecting the worse.

The next day, my cousin suggested I go to the Camarillo Healing Rooms, so she and I met there and went in the room together. I was prayed over and told that my baby was fine and to thank God for a healthy baby. I went home with a whole different attitude and believed that my baby would be fine. To my surprise, only a couple hours after leaving the Healing Room, I got a phone call from the genetic counselor saying that the amnio test results came back completely normal! I still had to wait for the full results, but I just kept believing that everything was good. Today I got the full test results and EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY NORMAL! Praise God!
