The Bible, which is God’s Word to you right now, declares “Surely, He (Jesus) Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains… and we are healed by His wounds.” Isaiah 53:4-5
Did you hear that? Jesus carried away your pain! The words “borne” and “carried” denote actual substitution and complete removal of the thing borne. At the cross, Jesus not only bore your sins removing them as far as the east is from the west, but He bore your sicknesses and pain. Why did He bear them? So, you would not need to bear them! This is great news if you are afflicted with sickness or pain!
Matthew 8:16-17 quotes the above scripture saying, “He (Jesus) healed all that were sick that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” In Jesus earthly ministry He received an early down-payment for His victorious work at the cross by healing ALL who were sick. Too many people think that they are an exception to the “ALL”. Don’t let anyone or anything trick you into believing that you are exempt from receiving healing and living pain-free!

Declare God’s Truth over your life: Jesus bore and carried away my sickness and pain. I refuse to bear what Jesus bore for me as my substitute! Healing belongs to me! Pain-free living belongs to me! By Jesus’ stripes, His wounds, I am healed!
