The Bible are very clear about the principle of having healthy finances!
In the Old Testament, God encourages us to, "Always remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you power to gain wealth…" (Deut.8:18)
 There is a worldly wealth that actually pulls us away from Him (Matt.19:24) This O.T. verse assures us that only God can open up financial doors that will truly be a blessing in every area of our lives!
 In the New Testament, Jesus addresses the day-to-day needs that all people have, “So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. Why be like the unbelievers who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day-to-day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern." (Matt.6:31-33)
 Herein lies the principle to having healthy finances. Whether it is family income or profits from a business (there is no difference). Dedicate them for the King’s kingdom purposes and prosper!
 Paul further expands on this when writing to the generous church in Phillippi, “As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this. I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. What I want is for you to receive a well-earned reward because of your kindness. At the moment I have all I need—more than I need! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable to God and pleases him. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:15-19)
 Our heavenly King releases His kingdom riches into our life as we give into His earthly purposes.
